Snacking on this app(le)ealing treat this afternoon! PALEO BAKED APPLE FRIES with a maple caramel cashew butter dip! SO freaking yummy. They are so simple to make too! Your Saturday night would probably be better with a batch…just saying…thank me later 😘

  • One apple cut up into thin wedges (I used Fuji)
  • 1 tsp of melted coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of @ottos_cassava_flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of either @lakantosweetener golden monk fruit OR coconut sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt 

Preheat oven to 475. Mix together the flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Brush apples on both sides with oil then coat each slice with the flour mixture. Place on a wire wrack with a sheet or foil underneath. Bake for about 10 minutes on each side until crispy on outside and soft inside.

For the sauce, I mixed together 2 tablespoons of @georgiagrinders cashew butter, 1 tablespoon @lakantosweetener maple syrup and mixed together. Then add a splash of boiling water to get a dip consistency.
